A Community Gathering for Accountability,Healing, and Restoration

Restore Circles are intentional, community-based restorative justice gatherings designed to honor survivors of crime, foster accountability, and create space for healing through truth, listening, and shared responsibility.

This invite-only Restore Circle will bring together survivors of crime, justice-impacted and formerly incarcerated individuals, victim advocates, and representatives from public safety and justice institutions in a guided, trauma-informed environment. The purpose of the gathering is not debate, defense, or forced reconciliation. It is to center survivor voices, acknowledge harm, and invite participants into a deeper understanding of the human impact of crime.

The evening will feature a survivor panel, a keynote survivor testimony, and facilitated dialogue that allows survivors to share their lived experiences while justice-impacted participants engage primarily through listening, reflection, and respectful, moderated questions. Representatives from agencies such as the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, victim advocacy organizations, the Phoenix Police Department, and the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office will be invited to attend and participate in support of survivor-centered healing and community accountability.

Restore Circles are grounded in the belief that healing and public safety are strengthened when communities confront harm honestly, honor those who have been hurt, and create meaningful pathways for accountability and service. The gathering will conclude by highlighting opportunities for participants to give back through service, advocacy, and restorative action within the community.

This event is designed to be emotionally safe, respectful, and carefully facilitated. Participation is voluntary, and clear boundaries and ground rules will be established to protect the dignity and well-being of all involved, especially survivors.
